Instrumentation is described whereby the evapotranspiration from bog vegetation can be measured under natural conditions. The specific environment in the New Jersey Pine Barrens for which it is designed is described. The questions concerned with the Pine Barrens vegetation water relations which it is expected to answer are discussed.
